Massage to the rescue
Why are you suffering needless pain? Perhaps you have made all the rounds, seen all the doctors, tried all the pills. Maybe they worked for awhile, but the relief did not last. You, perhaps, suspect you’re getting worse. There was a time when I needed some pills too, but the medicine left me feeling out of sorts and, in the end, only slowed my recovery.
When I was released from the nursing home, I still had not recovered fully, and knew I had a long way yet to go. My Physical Therapist told me that I would never play basketball again, and, since I was supported by a walker at the time, really, what could I say to her. There did not seem to be any basketball in my near future, except for watching the game on the television.
When I arrived home, I received a welcome home call from my employer, letting me know my service would no longer be required. Already feeling unsteady, wobbly, and weak, hearing that I had lost my job did not help my recovery.
I knew what I needed, what would help me to recover. It was not just the physical issues, but all the new stress heaped on top, all needed healing, so I started getting Massage work regularly. My condition improved quickly. The Massage really worked.
Of course, the Massage work helped me recover, which was no surprise, after all. Being a Massage Therapist I knew firsthand what could be accomplished using this wonderful healing art. But I also knew that the results depended on the skills of the therapist. I wanted the best quality massage available. So should you.
